Jeanine Jackson has training in Classical Portraiture and Landscape Art @  Silvermine Art School in New Canaan, CT  under Master George Passantino. She attended The School for Visual Arts & The National Academy of the Arts in NYC as well as Atelier workshops with many of today's greatest painters. Ms Jackson became Founder and President Emerita of the prestigious Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists. In 2004, The Portrait Society of America named her their Connecticut Ambassador. In 2005, she joined the winter faculty of the Cape Coral Art League.  In 2009, The Greenwich Arts Council elected Ms. Jackson to their Board of Directors. She also served on the board of the Art Society of Old Greenwich. She was elected artist member of Salmagundi Club in NYC. In 2012, Jeanine was inducted into The Academy of the Holy Angels Arts Hall of Fame. Her notable paintings include: Former CT Lt Governor Michael Fedele, Newtown First Selectman Herbert Rosenthal, Retired USCG Captain John McConnell, & IHYC Commodore Susan B. Fisher. Ms. Jackson's art work has been featured in: Who's Who in American Art, Signature Magazine, Artist Stanford Magazine, Greenwich Time, & NYC Arts Magazine. She maintains studios in Old Greenwich, CT, and West Palm Beach, Fl.
